Customers send CAD files via modem or over the internet. Prospect then translates these file and runs 3D solidification models, allowing quick analysis of casting design, manufacturability and cost. The files can be sent electronically to one of several pattern shops Prospect uses to build the necessary tooling. This process allows Prospect to respond proactively, limiting potential problems before tooling is built and castings are poured, which reduces the time required to go from design to finished product.
